Boyan Solar Rechargeable Camping Lantern

The Boyan Solar Rechargeable Camping Lantern is as described on the product description page. It arrived in a box which contained the lantern and one 110v recharger cord. This lantern can take batteries (not included), charge by the sun, charge to an electrical outlet or charge with a USB car charger (not included). The lantern didn’t come with printed instructions. The box it came in had pictures of all the ways to charge the lamp. The box is incorrect on the instructions. It says it charges with a 220 recharger when it is actually a 110v recharger that looks quite different than our plugs here in the United States. It is just 2 straight metal prongs. I was concerned about the safety and my husband said as long as the prongs made contact with the outlet it would work fine. I immediately sat my lantern in the sun for a few hours. It is still working off sun charge or the charge it arrived with. I can only assume the rechargeable batteries are in the sealed top of the lantern. It really puts out a nice light and is easy to open and shut. It even has two handles to carry or hang the lantern. It can be placed on a table, floor, hung from a tree branch or a hook. It is so portable and serves a great purpose. I wish it also came with the actual car charging cable. I didn’t have one in my box when I unboxed the contents. We live in the Midwest and get tornados, bad weather and ice storms which cause power outages. This is so convenient and much safer to use when we must take shelter from the storms. I received this solar rechargeable light at a discount for my honest review.
